President Message
Excellence ,courage and integrity are the three fundamental qualities which our D.A.V. institutions inculcate in the students.”We believe that effective schooling is founded on a deep respect for students and their ability to achieve big goals. Students thrive when they face challenges. We encourage them to take risks and tackle difficult projects. Teachers use innovative techniques to teach, both the basic skills, as well as, complex concepts underlying each academic area. Our educational philosophy is centered on praise, encouragement, enthusiasm and affection. We take pride in our happy and nurturing environment which enables every student to achieve that very best.”

Chairman’s Message
Believing in the philosophy that the best way to contribute to the society is to provide a platform for children’s education, where dreams can turn into reality and firm roots can bloom into magnificent trees. D.A.V. Institutions were started not only to impart value-based holistic education to the children, but also to create global citizens who carve a niche for themselves in the competitive world which is beckoning them, while at the same time they are taught to respect Indian culture and values. D.A.V. Model School Hariana is a blend of modernity and tradition where the day begins with the chant of mantras and ends with a prayer. In between there is a plethora of class-activities which are linked to modern technologies. Each day is an amazing learning experience for the tutor and the pupil.

Principal Message
In the classroom of today, learners are no longer passive recipients nor are the teachers, the all knowing givers of information, knowledge and wisdom, in fact, the situation is quite the contrary with the ever spreading world of information at the click of a mouse. There is no denying the fact that children differ from adults not only in the quantity of knowledge they possess but also in the quality of the knowledge. It means that children think differently from adults. So when learning involves active construction of knowledge , the classroom environment must call for more synergies rather than mere individual participation. The teacher participation needs to develop the ability to work with children creatively, to generate new ideas, new theories, new products and new knowledge. The school has made certain innovative changes as part of new curriculum dynamics and newer contents at various levels.
